orners of a living room can get overlooked. Well, this one is being ignored no longer. I used to have a console table here that served as a place to put a lamp and decorative items. But if you had people over and needed more seating, that console table did you no good. So I moved it out (into storage for now) and moved in a neutral slipper chair, a floor lamp with an oversize shade, a bunch of curly sticks in the corner, a lime green garden seat and a vintage oil painting I picked up for $50 at an antique store in Monrovia. Now it’s useful seating and it softens the living room considerably.
